Owing to the fast growth in customer numbers and the need for additional channels through which Gulf African Bank's customers can access banking services, collection accounts with Co-operative Bank of Kenya shall be opened on behalf of the bank to service our customers.
Services to be offered by collecting banks include (Phase I);
- Receiving cash (Kenya Shillings and USD)
- Receiving cheque deposits (Kenya Shillings and USD)
Out of scope
Other banking services and payment instruments such as encashment through cheques, plastic cards, bank transfers etc at branches are out of scope for under phase one.
Queries
The Branch Manager or his/her designate shall act as the contact person to attend to and resolve GAB customer queries raised at branches. In case issues arise, requiring communication with any Gulf African Bank branch or head office, he/she shall be responsible for liaising with relevant officers in order to handle the queries.
