Send and receive money with ease through X-press money

We are pleased to inform you that Gulf African Bank has signed an agreement with Xpress Money of the UAE to offer instant cash remittance services in Kenya. Xpress Money service is available across five continents in over 100 countries through over 80,000 agent locations.

This internet-based remittance service allows customers to send and receive money instantly through any of our branches in Kenya by following the simple steps below:

Sending Money

1. Visit the branch and fill out a send money form.

2. Confirm that beneficiary names are correctly captured and corresponds to what appears in the identity document (Passport/ National ID).

3. Hand over the transfer amount plus commission to the cashier.

4. Cashier will process the request and provide the sender a 16-digit XPIN number which should be passed on to the beneficiary of the funds.

5. All send transactions will be in the local currency of the agent location. 

Receiving Money

1. At the bank, present a valid National ID/Passport plus the 16-digit XPIN number to the cashier

2. The request will be processed and payment made to the receiver within a few minutes.

3. All receive transactions will be either in the local currency of the agent location.

Please note:

1. The transfer fee is paid only at the source.

2. The maximum send and receive amounts is USD 5,000.00 or equivalent in local currency.
